Here is an alternative for a family snack, a delicous snack for everyone to enjoy, children and grownups. This recipe is very easy to follow and it is a great way to use your buffalo Mozzarella, in case you have any left in the fridge!

Pizza dough, 280 gr
Egg, 1
Tomato sauce, 330 ml
Mandara buffalo mozzarella,250 gr
Salt, a pinch
Pepper , a pinch
Oil , just enough
Fresh oregano , just enough



Here are all the steps for this recipe with buffalo mozzarella:

Preheat oven to 180°C/ 350°F

In a bowl, add to the tomato sauce the olive oil, salt, pepper and oregano.

Cut Mandara buffalo mozzarella into little cubes.

Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 6 equal sized pieces. Spread some of your tomato sauce down the center of each piece of dough.

Add mozzarella cheese down the center on top of the tomato sauce.

Pinch edges to close, giving it a “tube” shape.

Now you can grab each end and twist into a pretzel shape and slightly flatten, repeat with remaining dough.

Bake in oven for 20 minutes.
